Hardingham, Dealer in Works of Art, was established in the late 19th century.  Mrs Amelia Hardingham's shop at 28,29, 32 Petty France (known as York Street in the 19th and early 20th century) was demolished in 1923; the shop front from no.32 was gifted to the Victoria & Albert Museum (W.88-1923).
