Antique Dealers: the British Antique Trade in the 20th Century

Adams, 'Antique Dealer, Edinburgh and New York' appears to have been established in the late 19th century. They are recorded as having a 'carpet department and counting house' at 7 & 8 Queensferry Street, Edinburgh in 1907, but as 'antique dealers' at the same address in 1903. Their other antique galleries were located in Shandwick Place in Edinburgh in the early 20th century.
