The firm of Wartski, dealers in antique and modern jewellery and works of art, was established in 1865 by Morris Warski, a Russian refugee, in Bangor, North Wales. The business expanded in the late 19th century and Morris' sons Harry and Charles joined the firm; Wartski moved the business to Llandudno in 1907. The firm opened a branch in New Bond Street in London by 1911. Currently the firm trade in Grafton Street, London, in a shop designed for Wartski by John Bruckland in 1974.
