Victor B. Button

Victor Benjamin Button (1842-1914) was established in 1861, in Brighton - according to their advertisements of c.1900. Victor Button died on 2nd July 1914. He moved the business to to Regent Street, London in 1882.  Button was acknowledged as a leading authority on English ceramics. He travelled widely, spending long periods in the wilds of Australia.  He retired from business due to ill health, when he was trading from Queen's Road, Bromley.

Button's nephew was the dealer in ceramics George Stoner (see Stoner & Evans), who worked for Button at his Regent Street shop.
