Victor Needham (1900-1976) was born in Manchester, but opened an antique shop in New York in the late 1920s; by the 1940s he had a shop in Manchester. The business moved to Bournemouth in the UK in the early 1950s, and in 1961 Victor was joined in the business by his son-in-law Brian Fox.
