Mary Bellis

Mary Bellis (c.1896-1987), opened an antique shop in Bournemouth in 1943, specialising in antique oak and country furniture and objects. With her husband Eric (d.1976) Mary established a business with an international reputation for oak furniture; the business moved to Hungerford in 1952.

Christie's held an auction sale of the collection of Mary and Eric Bellis in May 1987.
