Gered Antiques was established in 1947, owned by Wolf Mankowitz together with his sister and David Seligman. Wolf was a well-known specialist in Wedgwood ceramics and author of 'Wedgwood' (1953) and the autobiographical novel 'Make Me an Offer' (1952).
