G.T. Ratcliffe Limited was founded by George Ratcliffe (1912-1968). George Ratcliffe died, following a heart attack, at Durwards Hall, Kelvedon, Essex on June 20th 1968, aged 56; the business continued until 1989, when Christie's sold the remaining contents of Durwards Hall.
