Alan Bennett (1930-2021) began his antique dealing business in Cornwall in 1954, he retired in 2007. Bennett started working in the antique trade at Barker's of Blackheath, before joining Harrod's Antique Department. His wife, Winifred, and later his son, Justin, joined Bennett in the business.
